Author Bio
Nonny Mendoza grew up in Huntington Park before moving to Downey in 1998. From an early age, she experienced frequent paranormal encounters, sparking a lifelong fascination with the unknown.
After earning a graphic design certification in 1995, Nonny built a successful career and founded her own business, INC Print Inc., in 2004. Looking for Change, she made a bold decision in 2007 to walk away from entrepreneurship and started her journey of self-discovery. At 38, she joined the Navy, serving for a decade—a transformative experience that reshaped her life. As fate would have it her first duty station was in New Orleans, a city steeped in supernatural lore, the city reignited her passion for the paranormal.
During her service, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree (Cum Laude) in 2018 and retired honorably from the Navy in 2019. Since then, she has dedicated herself to writing, and publishing four volumes of Ghostly Tales Books based on her real-life paranormal encounters.
Her debut book, Awaken the Dreamer, is a deeply personal exploration of spiritual awakening, government secrecy, and human consciousness, offering profound insights into the hidden forces shaping our world.
An interesting fact about Nonny Mendoza is that she is a direct descendant of King Henry II and Eleanor of Aquitaine, connecting her to one of history's most influential royal lineages.
